BLIND STRATEGIES FOR BIG GAME

BLEND INTO EXISTING COVER

Deer are extremely aware of there surroundings and notice anything different in the area.  For example, if the deer are traveling along a small oak thicket the hunter can trim some oaks back into the thicket and place them in the blind giving him room on the inside but giving the appearance of the oaks undisturbed while allowing the hunter to have shooting lanes where he needs them. Not restricting him to the preset lanes designed in a warehouse.

HUNTING WITHOUT EXISTING COVER

If deer are traveling a area with no cover you can take tall grass or cedar limbs (cover that is close to the area just not where you need it for the shot) insert it into the bungee system place it in the desired location, we have found from our use in this situation yes some deer will notice that the cover is new to the area but the benefit of the real cover it doesn't alarm them as much we have actually had deer walk up to and up wind of the blind versus down winding to smell for danger. We truly feel it is the best tool for the situation! Better than staying home or watching from a distance and wishing you were there.

BRUSH IN TENT BLINDS

If you have a pop up style blind, the Fast Strike blind is a great tool that can be used to hide the unnatural fabric and shape of the blind. Expensive pop up blinds will become destroyed by the elements. You can pre-set the Fast Strike blind up and leave them there due to their durability. You then simply set the pop up blind inside when your ready to hunt. Giving you the best chance of hunting undetected.
